My first attempt at plein air

I was instructed to go find something to paint at the Scipio Creek Marina and was taken with this fishing boat, the Kitty Ann, washed up over the pier by a storm. There were trees growing out of the back. It was HARD! I stood there for the better

part of 4 hours and the tender backs of my lily white knees got blistered by the sun. It is a fun little sketch but I don't think I impressed anybody, especially me. But not bad for a first go.
